Faraday Future’s FF 91 EVs Priced at Up to $309,000

Faraday Future has finally launched its much-delayed FF 91 electric vehicles. The Futurist Alliance limited edition is the most expensive, priced at $309,000. The FF 91 2.0 Futurist model will cost $249,000, similar to the Lucid Air Sapphire. The base FF 91 2.0 is yet to be priced. Both expensive models run on three electric motors that take them from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.27 seconds, and can go as fast as 155 mph. They have “zero gravity” seats for a comfortable ride and 27-inch rear passenger displays. While they have a range shorter than the Tesla Model S, at 381 miles, they beat the Model Y.

Faraday Future plans to manufacture just 300 Futurist Alliance EVs. The vehicles will have an exclusive wheel design and owners can choose from bright silver, matte silver, and matte black. The first 91 owners will receive high-speed internet satellite communications, an Apple Watch with Fengyun vehicle control features and access to professional track-time training. Faraday Future has also launched FF aiHypercar+. The subscription service is a mobility ecosystem product that aids vehicle maintenance and AI assistant personalization. The first 2,000 users in the US and China will pay $14,900 per year.

Preorders are open for the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance and Futurist models in the US and China. The deposit for the FF 91 2.0 Futurist Alliance model is $5,000, while that for the Futurist model is $1,500. There are no delivery dates yet, but the company says the three-phase delivery plan commenced on 31st May. The firm will host an Industry Expert FPO(s) event on 6th June where customers can pay for and get their units delivered.
