It’s that time again! The mid-month update to card battler Marvel Snap (Free) has arrived, and there’s a lot to talk about. There are some new features, some balance changes, and the return of a heroine who was dramatically taken from us a couple of months ago. Let’s dive in.
Firstly, Kitty Pryde is back! Due to some bugs, she was quickly removed pending some fixes. But now she’s returned with an updated ability, allowing her to return to your hand at the start of each turn and gain +2 power each time. Additionally, this update adds more cosmetic customization options for your decks, including avatars and titles. There are also changes to Ranked Mode, with new bonuses and a smaller requirement to rank up.
Now onto the balance changes. There’s only one buff this time, which is for Crystal. Her ability now causes each player to draw one card when she’s played anywhere. The only nerf is to Wave, with stats staying the same, but the wording on the card changing to make all cards cost 4 until the end of the next turn. Death is receiving a tiny buff as compensation, going from a 9-Cost to an 8-Cost 12-Power card.
Furthermore, there are changes to which cards are moving to different pools. Darkhawk and Knull will be staying in Series 4 for now. Finally, there are bug fixes, and as always, we’ll have an updated deck guide for you in a couple of weeks.
