This Week’s 10 Bestselling Singles In Korea

The Gaon Download chart ranks the bestselling individual songs in South Korea every week, and the latest iteration of the chart contains a newly-crowned leader and five total just-released entrants, at least when looking solely at the top 10 on the tally.

NCT Dream seem to easily score another champion on the sales-only list, as their new single “Hello Future” debuts atop the tally. The tune shares a name with the collection it’s featured on, which is a repacked deluxe edition of the band’s first full-length Hot Sauce. Hello Future (the complete project) also opens at No. 1 on the Gaon Albums chart, giving the act their second ruler of 2021.

MSG Wannabe, a semi-fake boy group (but one which produces real music) created on the reality show Hangout With Yoo fills the next two spaces with their most recently-released tracks, “Foolish Love” (No. 2) and “Only You” (No. 3).

A pair of hit singles debuts next at Nos. 4 and 5, with Han Seung-woo’s “Fade” coming first, followed very closely by 2PM’s “Must.” Both of those cuts serve as the lead single and title track from new collections by the two acts.

Down three spots to No. 6 is Brave Girls’ latest single “Chi Mat Ba Ram.”

BigMama, a South Korean girl group, see their new track “One Day More” push from No. 11 to No. 7, entering the top 10 for the first time.

Two more singles debut inside the loftiest tier next, with Lim Young-woong’s “Last Love” opening at No. 8 while Epik High’s “Rain Song,” which credits Colde as a featured act, arrives at No. 9.

Speaking of rain, another tune with that word in the title rounds out the top 10 on this week’s Gaon Download chart. Lee Moo-jin’s “Rain and You” descends a trio of spaces to No. 10, managing to hold on inside the uppermost area once again.
